Take in the natural beauty from the comfort of your covered back deck, where you can enjoy grilled meals & drinks, or savor your morning coffee on the front porch while watching the deer roam. With a nearby public boat ramp just over a mile away, it's easy to launch your boat or water toys & make the most of your time at the lake!

Experience the peace and charm of a cozy farmhouse-style lake house. Get up close to nature as the wildlife wanders around the house at dawn and dusk. Located just 1 mile from stunning Canyon Lake and nearby charming towns like Gruene and Wimberley with wine tastings, shopping, and delicious dining. The Guadalupe River is just 11 miles away in New Braunfels, perfect for a day of fun on the river.

INSIDE
- Two of the bedrooms feature King-sized beds, while the third bedroom is equipped with a set of twin bunk beds and a trundle twin bed that is perfect for kids.
- Our property is family-friendly and comes equipped with amenities to make traveling with little ones easier, such as a high chair, pack & play (please note that baby sheets are not included), and safety outlet covers.
- Additionally, we have a variety of games available in the entryway closet for some family fun.
- Our property features a smart TV with access to various streaming services, including Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+. Please note that we do not provide login information for these services.

BACKYARD
-The backyard is fully enclosed by a fence, providing a safe & private space for you & your family to enjoy. The backyard has a propane grill & spacious patio seating area, ideal for outdoor entertaining or simply relaxing in the fresh hill country air. We supply the propane!
- You can also create fun memories by making s'mores around the backyard propane fire pit. Kindly check the Comal County website for the burn ban status before using it.

INSECT AND WILDLIFE
Please be advised that our home is situated in a climate abundant with insects and wildlife. Depending on the season and weather conditions, guests may encounter wasps, snakes, ants, scorpions, etc. Although we use pest control services regularly, we cannot guarantee against occasional bugs entering the home. To prevent this, we ask that guests keep doors closed, dispose of trash properly, and store food responsibly. Thank you for your understanding.

GUEST ACCESS

At Westview Retreat, there is a digital keypad that will be programmed with a one-time code that we will send to you prior to your arrival. This code will remain valid for the duration of your stay. To secure the door when you depart, simply press the lock icon on the keypad; you do not need to enter the code to lock the door. It's important to ensure that the back door is locked as well before you leave. You have full access to the entire house, front yard, and backyard (fully fenced) during your stay.

NEIGHBORHOOD DESCRIPTION

Discover paradise at Westview Retreat, a perfect destination for a weekend escape, change of pace, or family vacation. Located just 1 mile from Canyon Lake, with quick and easy access. Take advantage of the nearby public boat ramp (1.3 miles) for convenient access to water toys, both for launch and rental. Welcome to your oasis!

PARKING

Please park only in the driveway; street parking is not permitted, and only a maximum of three cars are allowed at the property. Texas-sized driveway! Bring your boat & water toys!

INTERNET/TV

Free WiFi is included with your stay. The Username and Password are shown on the WiFi sign on the bar in the kitchen. The smart TV is set up with basic channels available through the Samsung guide or you can access Netflix or your favorite streaming platform with your personal login credentials.

SUPPLIES

We will provide all basic bath, bed, laundry, and kitchen supplies. All kitchen, bed, and bath linens/towels are provided. We do not provide beach/lake towels so please bring your own.
- You will find an iron and ironing board in the master bedroom closet
- Each bathroom includes the following; hairdryer, towels, washcloths, tissue, toilet paper jumbo-size shampoo, conditioner, and
body wash. We do not include bar soap or toothpaste.
- A few pods of laundry detergent are provided if you need to wash clothes. These are located by the back door near the washer/dryer.
- The kitchen is stocked with almost everything you might need to have a comfortable stay; Keurig coffee maker, Trash bags (Pantry),
Dishwasher pods, Dish soap, Paper towels, Aluminum Foil, Plates, Bowls, Utensils, Pots, Pans, and Bakeware.

COFFEE
At Westview Retreat we offer a complimentary coffee bar. The coffee bar includes a Keurig coffee maker with K-cups, creamer, sugar & honey. Drink as much or as little as you’d like!

HOUSE RULES - If you break any of these 4 rules you will be asked to leave immediately without any refund.

1. NO PARTIES OR GATHERINGS!
We take this very seriously! No parties or gatherings of any kind are allowed on this property. Make sure that the total number of guests on the property match that on your booking. If you have more guests anywhere on the property than what you have booked, you will be charged extra per guest, per day. Also, no more than 3 cars are allowed at the property.

2. NO LOUD MUSIC!
Please be respectful of our neighbors.

3. NO SMOKING!
No cigarettes, tobacco, marijuana, hookah, or cigars are permitted in or on the property.

4. PETS!
Please limit to 1 animal. Must be potty trained. Must be added to the reservation. Please clean up after your pet.

FAQ'S

When is trash pick-up?

Trash pickup is every Tuesday morning at 6 am. Please put trash by the street on Monday night.
